Skaersommernat Shawl by Pia Trans

Skærsommernat means Midsummer night. It's a shawl designed for those very special, single skeins of amazingly beautiful yarn – the ones you couldn’t not buy, even if you didn’t have a plan for them. Add some silk-mohair and get a large asymmetrical triangular shawl! The shawl is large enough to snuggle up in, but still light enough to use as a scarf.

It is knit in stripes of Dream in Color's Smooshy with Cashmere and Dream in Color's Billy, a gorgeous silk-mohair. It features two different lace patterns, and you can easily substitute one in the pattern if you decided you just love that particular lace pattern.

The Skærsommernat Shawl belongs to the midsummer nights; the long, bright and beautiful nights of summer which are too warm for a sweater, but perfect for a shawl, or in Tucson's climate perfect all year round!
