Forest Weave Workshop with Yumiko Alexander

In this 2.5 hour workshop led by Yumiko Alexander of DanDoh Designs, you will swatch with your chosen yarn, as well as learn all the techniques needed to make your own beautifully draped Forest Weave Top. Techniques include cabled drop stitches, seaming and picking up stitches on open fabric.

Cost of the class includes instruction and pattern, and all participants must also purchase their chosen yarn in advance from Birdhouse Yarns so it can be wound and ready for the workshop.

Workable in either Linen or Silk+ yarn, and with four different length options and two sleeve options, Forest Weave is the perfect garment to personalize to your exact tastes. Yumiko will guide you through techniques specific to this garment as well as techniques used across the rest of her designs, and familiarity with cables is needed for this garment.
Depending on your garment length and sleeve options, between 4 and 10 skeins of Linen or Silk+ is required, please refer to pattern for details. Birdhouse carries all DanDoh yarn lines in all colors but full amounts for this workshop may have to be ordered so please make your selection as soon as possible after registering.
