Intermediate Knitting Class: Beyond the Basics

Join us for a great new workshop where you will go beyond the basics of knitting. This class is intended to be the follow up for people who have taken our Beginning Knitting class, or anyone who can cast on, knit and purl, and wants to take their next steps.

We will learn techniques for increasing and decreasing, and working the long-tail cast on. We will also discuss pattern reading and finishing techniques such as seaming and blocking.

This workshop will provide instruction, a book with 60 Quick Knit Projects (contains 30 pages of tips and instructive photos as well) and a US7 (4.5mm) Chiao Goo circular needle. Participants should be 14 years and up.

Please bring (or purchase) yarn of your choice: at least 50g of worsted weight yarn. If you have taken our Beginning Knitting, you can bring one or both of the balls you received in that class.
