How do I sign up?
Sign up online here, or call (520) 305-4187 during business hours, or sign up in person in the shop.
How much does it cost?
Club membership is $60 for 3 consecutive months.
Membership includes:
- Three skeins of an easy-care worsted weight yarn
- Three patterns
- Three 90-minute crochet-along sessions
- Stitch support and instruction
You will need to bring a US H, US I, or US J crochet hook.
When:
We are offering 2 different club sessions - one in the day, and one at night. The Day Session will meet once a month on a Wednesday from 1:00pm - 2:30pm. The Night Session will meet once a month on a Thursday evening from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. If you sign up for the Day Session, you will always come during the day, and if you sign up for the Night Session you will always come during the night.
How does it work?
Each month at our meeting you will receive a pattern , which we will crochet together, and a skein of worsted weight yarn in the color of your choice. You will have enough yarn in each skein to make more squares!
Is this for beginners?
This club is for those who are comfortable chaining, doing single and double crochet.
If you’ve never crocheted or you’re not comfortable with beginner stitches yet, try our Hooked on Crochet lesson series.
What do I do with all the squares?
At the end of the year you will have at least 12 squares that you can join together to make an afghan sampler, or perhaps a casual handbag, or the base for a spectacular crochet cardigan.
FAQs
- What if I can’t make it to the meeting one month?
No problem, we will get the pattern to you, and you will have your yarn! For logistic purposes the club subscription is for consecutive months ex. If you sign up for February, March and April and miss March, there isn’t a make-up meeting. - I missed the sign up for the first quarter, can I still sign up?
Yes! We’re implementing a rolling sign-up, that means that while there is still space, you can join! Your membership to our super-sweet and fun club will be for three months so if the original quarter started in January and was for Jan.- Mar. and you join in Feb, your membership will be for Feb - Apr. - I signed up for the first quarter, could I get bumped for the second quarter by someone else who didn’t sign up for first quarter?
No, siree! Those who signed up for the first quarter have priority for the second quarter etc. We will sign you up in advance of opening it to the wider group. After it’s open to the wider group then your spot might be snapped up, - Do I get to choose my yarn colors?
Yes! We’ve identified a quality easy-care worsted weight yarn that we carry in a whole bunch of colors! You can go bright, bright, bright, or neutral, or muted, or mix all the colors for a fabulous rainbow!
